Our MLP is a comprehensive training course designed to give you all the knowledge and skills required to work safely and legally in the domestic gas industry:

  • Theory training Learn the foundations of domestic gas safety, regulations, and system design

  • Practical training Gain hands-on experience in our purpose built training centre

  • Word placement Complete on-site work experience alongside a registered Gas Safe engineer

  • Portfolio building Support in developing your on-site portfolio, a key requirement for final assessment

  • Final ACS assessment Undertake your ACS exams to quality for Gas Safe registration

Most learners complete in around 6 to 9 months. The exact timeline depends on your availability and how quickly you complete the on-site portfolio.

You will take your ACS assessments, for example CCN1 with appliances, then apply for Gas Safe registration so you can work legally as a gas engineer.
