Legionella Training Course Description
This course covers legionella awareness and the areas to be aware of on a hot and cold-water system, the HSE guidance and the dosing of systems.
LEGC Legionella control in water systems has been designed to provide knowledge of correct method of design, control and maintenance of water and air conditioning systems and the requirements of the control of Legionella bacteria in water systems as per HSC L8 document.
This course is 1 day long and pre requisitions for this course is a minimum of 12 months in the plumbing & heating industry
The legionella bacterium is found mainly in stagnant water, e.g. ponds and rivers or buildings containing cooling tower, evaporation condensers, air conditioning and industrial cooling systems, humidifiers, spa baths and hot and cold water systems.
Small groups
All our courses are run in small groups of no more than six operatives to ensure the best learning environment for our customers.
