Course Description
OFTEC 101 / 105e / 600a initial oil course
This course is for candidates with previous experience in the heating industry.
The course covers theoretical and practical training on the subject. You will learn about setting up pressure jet oil boilers, installing pressure jet boiler’s fault finding, oil tank and fuel line installations, room by room heat loss calculations and OFTEC regulations covering the subject.
This course is 4 days long. With the option to purchase OFTEC books ready for your registration with OFTEC.

How to become OFTEC registered
To attain OFTEC registration, individuals must exhibit proficiency in oil-fired appliance installation and servicing, typically acquired through relevant training completion. Our oil courses are OFTEC-recognized. Additionally, meeting prerequisites like securing adequate public liability insurance and implementing proper health and safety policies is imperative. Both the business entity and its technicians must be registered to fulfill OFTEC requirements.”
