GAS ENGINEER TRAINING

We provide a range of gas training courses, for existing Gas Safe Registered engineers looking to renew their qualifications and new entrants who are starting from scratch or expanding on transferable skills and experience.

COCN1

Core areas of gas work common to non-domestic heating appliances.

ICPN1

First fixing of natural gas and LPG non-domestic installation pipework including the installation of check meters up to a maximum operating pressure of 16bar.

TPCP1

Pneumatic strength testing, tightness testing and direct purging of non-domestic natural gas and LPG installation, MOP up to and including 16bar

TPCP1A

Strength testing, tightness testing and direct purging of small natural gas and non-domestic gas installations. Any section of pipework of volumes up to and including 1m squared MOP up to and including 40mbar at outlet of the primary meter regulator with supply MOP up to and including 75mbar and diameter up to and including 150mm where lengths are limited to maximum in tables in IGE/UP/1A.

CIGA1

Install, commission, service, repair and break down of non-domestic indirect gas fired heating appliance and equipment. Non-domestic gas fired forced convection air heaters and gas fired hot water boilers of rated heat input between 70kW and 2 MW, including internally installed gas fired absorption heat pumps.

CORT1

Install, commission, service, repair and break down of non-domestic overhead luminous radiant plaque and Type A (flueless) and Type B (flued) overhead radiant tube heaters.

CODNCO1

Gas safe for an engineer intending to extend work range from domestic natural gas core to include non-domestic heating core.
